I have been a knitter for over 40 years . I also belong to my church prayer shawl ministry. I love the way the author combined knitting and crocheting with the way God has knit the world together. I love the idea of God being the master knitter. I will no longer feel guilty when I grab my latest project and sit down to create with the help of the master knitter.
I liked this book, lots of inspiration.
I'm glad I bought this little book. It's full of love for God, kindness, and an appreciation for all things related to knitting. The author cleverly winds together Christian thought and common sense knitting ideas to make a thoroughly enjoyable reading experience. It's like a letter from a dear friend.
I love the way God sometimes places a song, a sermon, or a story in our life at just the right moment. I was able to deeply connect with and understand the little lessons in this book because of the knitting connection. In the same way Jesus used parables to reach people where they are at, this short book used my favorite parable, knitting, to reach me where I'm at. Definitely one I will read again.

This book is a wonderful collection of stories and thoughts on faith...and knitting...and life in general. I found it to be a wonderful devotional and an excellent book. Very soothing, it easily produces a feeling of calm and peace. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.
This is the first book I have read that compares Knitting to a devotional. The short chapter stories made me think about my Knitting in a whole new light.
